International lyric mezzo-soprano Guadalupe Peraza currently enjoys a successful concert career in North America and Europe encompassing her versatility in both contemporary and baroque venues. At the Cedros Orchestra and Arteus Orchestra she performed Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Mozart's Requiem, Coronation Mass, and Brevis Mass K220 in Mexico City and Italy.
Opera performances include Cherubino, Romeo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Annio (La Clemenza di Tito), Proserpina, Speranza and Ninfa (Orfeo) in Italy (IIVA), Damigella (L'incoronazione di Poppea), Augusta (The Ballad of Baby Doe) and Charlotte in staged productions at Brooklyn College. Opera roles also include Isabella (L’Italiana in Algeri), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Ottavia (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Arsace (Partenope), Ruggiero (Alcina), Carmen, Siebel, and Stephano. |
