Greek Dramatic Soprano Labrini Batzios was recognized early in her career for her dramatic talents. In 2001, when she was 23, she sang Cio-Cio San and in 2003 sang Leonora in "Il Trovatore"at the Municipal Opera of Ioannina. At the Greek National Opera she sang Lady Macbeth (2003) and Tosca at the Municipal Opera of Ioannina. Lady Macbeth followed in 2006 and she covered Turandot in 2008. As soloist, she sang an opera recital at Athens Opera Hall (2008) and was guest soloist in 2009 at the Opera Gala dedicated to Maria Callas (Parnassus Foundation). She sings Turandot at the Anzio Opera Festival in Rome in 2011.
