Vittorio Parisi has just conducted the new opera "For You" written by Michael Berkeley, libretto by Ian Mc Ewan, at the Rome Sinfonietta Orchestra and has been immediately engaged again for next season. The opera was such a success that it was recorded by the Italian National Radio Television (RAI) and will be broadcast by radio and in a special TV program.
Earlier this season he conducted the opening concerts of the Cagliari Opera House Symphonic season with Beethoven's
5th Symphony and Mendelssohn's First Night of Valpurga.
Upcoming in 2011 he conducts Turandot (Tirana Opera House) and new music TBA. |
